Doogie

Aunt Rachel brought her doggie Mack to Cole's birthday party and Molly couldn't have been more thrilled.

We celebrated Cole's birthday and then Josh and I enjoyed "date night" even though it didn't start until ten. I thought I was going to fall asleep at the movie theater but I made it...barely.

Looking forward to spring break in five short days!

We did it!

I can't believe it. It was so easy. Molly has been sick with ear infections on and off for the past month. Our pediatrician told us paci's don't help with that so we had a talk with Molly one night and told her the pacis were making her ears hurt. We asked her if she could give them up and she said yes...and she did! This is the third night that she's slept with out one and hasn't even asked! I'm so proud of her. She's such a good girl. We are so blessed to have her in our lives!

Way to go Molly! You are such a big girl now. Where does the time go?

Perspective

It's been another sick weekend for us. Molly has had a fever of 104-105 for about three days. She hasn't been sleeping well and has been very iritable and uncomfortable. As easy as it is to complain and whine "poor me". This sweet girl has put it all in persective for me. How can I complain about sleepless nights and a grouchy toddler when so many mama's out there just want to hold their babies and can't? So I've decided to cherish each sick moment with my girl and love on her, even if that time does come at 3AM...

Firsts

It was a week of firsts.
First time for Molly to get her nails painted.
First time for Molly to use the "big girl" potty.
Meet "Tiny" her "baby dinosaur doll" she requested for being such a big girl!

American Honey

Ahh, it's March which means Spring is on the way. I'm so excited about our trip to Alabama over spring break to visit with our BFF's Sadie and Paula. Then there's Easter which is my favorite holiday, and then SUMMER!!! I'm ready for a pedicure, some blonde hi-lights, capri's and flip-flops. I survived another long winter, that calls for a celebration!

By the way, I'm LOVING this new song by Lady Antebellum. So hard to find a balence of being a wife, mom, teacher, daughter and friend. I miss those young, carefree days sometimes. Anyway, I've been blaring this song on the way to school in the mornings. :)
